Ok im doing a mock up for this company. Now they say their going to give me the work if the mock up is good. But my question is. Is it right to give them "just" the .JPG or do I put the PSD on a CD and hand it to them.
This is the first time another design company has asked our studio for a mock up. To sum it up. I dont want to charge him mock up price for a design he can chop up hisself and not use us to finish. Get me?
Any advice on what to do?

1. Give them a JPG, not a PSD.
2. Get a contract in writing.or
Make a watermark over any JPGs to make it undesirable for them to try to use your design without your permission.
One lesson I leaerned in my time freelancing is that you can never assume that anyone is going to be honest or ethical.
Good luck!

they can chop up a jpg or psd if you supply it on cd or not

tsk tsk... for a deal like that, I would print out a crappy gif of the mock-up and fax it to them.
I hate job descriptions including "you get the job if.."

yeah water mark your work supply it in jpg.
always hold on to your source files like a PSD, FLA, etc etc they can pay to get those off you, because the only reason they'd want them is to use your design to chop up.

They have already paid me for the work. And they use us for other things..
My question:: Their paying the money for our services. What does that include? just a print out? just a jpeg? since they are paying us money to make it.
Are they actualy buying the deisng. What are they paying for is what im asking.
BTW about the contracts.. I hear that.. Im all about contract's we actualy have a lawyer. but thanks for the advice..best advice in the world.

thats what you have to decide when you agree a fee.. and communicate to them that is exactly what or what not they will be recieving
