Just a few thoughts I am sure you have already thought of, but just in case:
"Who" tells me about you - great
"What" brings me directly to your portfolio. How about, just one step before diving into the portfolio, explaining exactly what it is that you do
"Why" - I thought it was why you do this thing, why design, why programming? But the header said "Contact me". I suggest either having your contact information avaialble elsewhere on your site, or present all the time. Or alternativly putting the "why you do this" in the "who" section, and replace that button with a page that leads to your contact information.
I didn't read all posts, so sorry if this was covered before.
Just my two...

Oh, while quickly looking through the copy I noticed the "always things to learn".
I would keep it out. Mostly because you are a working proffesional.
While it is true that anyone can't really be fully learned in just about any area, wheter design or not, I only heard interns admit that they are still seeking to learn.

very nice..
only things that i can say
(and they are personal preference)- your header is super boring..
every other part of the site is very nicely designed and put together.. looks proper.. but the header looks like it was an afterthought- on your nav- when i click on a section like 'who' or 'what'.. the type fucks up kinda.. (ie6, mac) - i'll post a screenshot if u want
- the 'about the designer' section is a little long for me, i think you could edit it down a bit.. (but then again, it might be exactly what employers are looking for, so u can tell me to stfu if u please)
- and then theres the name... its kinda weak.. (i like the url though) but i know how hard it is to pick a name, so i'll shut up :)

the header is boring isn't it?
*sigh*
I guess I didn't want to busy teh page - I wanted a really clean header...too clean I guess..
On teh nav - do you mean that the text gets bigger and changes font? that's intentional...
I have thought on occasion that the text was a little long...I'll see if I can edit it down a bit without taking too much out...
Yeah the name...had it about 4 years now...sounded very cool 4 years ago! maybe I should just drop it and start using my name....
Anyway thanks for taking the time....

Hey btw... your wedding site is really nice. Just think that the simple detail you have there just isnt the same as the simplicity of your portfolio site. Adding some extra design/illustrative elements to your site would help with the blandness.
