  I really want to get into fontography, but i have no idea where to start.

  what are the tools i need?
  any good books on the subject?
  Whats the deal with Mac fonts and PC fonts, how to make fonts for both platforms?

  Open Type format, ttf blah blah blah

  draw them in Illy / freehand, paste into fonto.. spend 3.2 yrs spacing.. export to all formats.
