Hey two questions:
1. Do they charge just to list an item for sale even if they item does not sell?
2. How much do they take for comission then once the item does indeed sell?
- rasko40
1. yes, dependent on start price
2. depends on the final end price.

1. http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/…
2. no commission, just the insertion fees.
- rasko40

oh snap!
didn't know that...sorry.
- rasko40
and then they (paypal/ebay) charge you another load of charges for your transactions (if thats what you take)
fuckers

wouldnt the be better off just charge a flat yearly fee for you to list unlimitd listings?
like 24.99 unlimited listings all year long.
and make their money off of the sales?
- rasko40
not when you consider some people sell thousands and thousands of products.. and besides, my name is not eBay ;)

ya.. they would loose so much money if they did that.
I list like 3 items a year for really cheap and still pay like 15 bucks.. and i consider my self a very very low ball seller..
they wouuld loose so much money.
Anyway.. nobody really complains..

but dont you think they would make more money of they had like packages example:
Bronze X listings per year X price
Silver X listings per year x Price
Gold Unlimited Listings X PriceIt could attract more people no?
Right now they are getting charged on like mutiple sides ebay and paypal etc.

EBay's the devil...use your neighborhood Craigslist!
At least try that first before forking over cash, your crdit card #, your bank account, your first-born male, and your address. The devil, I say!
