i disagree. emotions override logical thinking. regardless of whether something is instinctive or not, what you feel always overcomes what you believe.
hate, love, anger, fear... instinctive or not, they all cause logical thinking to take a back seat.

Its clouds your mind, it disrupts your regular thinking patterns, and like mitsu said it causes logical thinking to be all but removed.. And to make it worse it makes you do stupid things.. pretty close to a mental disorder..??

actually, i said that what you feel always overcomes what you believe, but that's incorrect. what i meant is that it can overcome, depending on how deeply you feel about something.
if you have little feeling for something, you're mind is in control. this is apparent in men and women where women typically are more emotional and act as such.

it's more of a stuggle between the two i think... not so much a disorder. otherwise you could say, men, at times, have emotional disorders... when in reality, they just don't operate on their emotions as much as some women. this is a generalization and i realize there are certainly exceptions.

probably depends what kind of lover you are
some people are very logical and reserved in the way they
love, and others are extremely passionate
bordering on insane
seems like people tend to be more on the insane side when they can't get the lover they want
