Creative review wins hands down in my opinion. Grafik is looking more and more like a womans magazine with each issue, What Have They Done.....

yup! im with you on that one, feels great but the content not so good.
- bomy_dick0
i agree
yep
- bomy_dick0
it's like the poster design thing..

They have different audiences.

Be glad you have the choice.
And if Grafik is looking more like a woman's magazine (i've not seen it so i can't comment) wear a dress when you read it. Bridge that gap.

grafik do nice studio profiles though. always wondered why CR didnt do that
- JamesEngage0
I'd say because Creative Review is much more mainstream, and probably more suited to advertising... Grafik sin't quite as direct as that.

Creative Review v Grafik
It's one of those boring 0-0 games really, neither has a great deal to offer to out do each other.
To me Grafik is more interesting content-wise but if I'm honest I did prefer the old format (Graphics international) and Lubalin Graph for body text doesn't make for great continuous reading, however, it is clear they aim to communicate style which appeals more to a student audience, and not us cynical b*stards
I haven't read creative Review for a month or so but wouldn't miss it if it completley disappeared.
Typographic magazine is my bedside companion, I like how they give editorial design to a different studio every issue, but I'd rather save up and buy books.

Grafik reminds me of a (for print )version of cre@teonline.

I don't know Grafik.... only Graphic
but Creative Review is simply not worth it's price.....
- carver0
Grafik is a german or dutch thing innit, and creative review, christ, do they still make that, i used to read that in the fuckin' dentists waiting room...
it's just about new telly adverts and cars isn't it....waste of money if you ask me, what with the internet and that, who needs pamphlets! hahahahahaha, daft!

Creative Review needs a good kicking. I want ideas not a glossy version of Computer Arts (how grim is that mag, talk about sucking the joy out of design but then most of you 'boy racers' probably go for that sort of thing, aye.) *I'm cheeky, me.*
- Bullitt0
you total nob. Creative totally owns you all. The web's dead fred.
- Blofeldt0
I know Creative Review is called Review. But it's so non commital. I'd like to see opinions etc in there and they never write replies to the letters. And it does seem to be all about telly. Never read Grafik. Eye can drink 'em both under the table.

does anyone read that new bio monthly magazine 'graphic' ?
Is it worth buying??
- Bunkum0
I bought the last 3 issues cause I found them cheap in Soho. The last one wasnt so interesting. They seem to be running out of Graphic Designers to feature (the photos of Danish Death Metal fans were strange).
