ok, i have had a powerbook for about 3 years now i think...i got the last of the bronze top keyboard models. now being a PC user, i used this thing only for travel, which wasn't that often, i hooked it up with all my tools....it's recently shit the bed, meaning that it has to be plugged in to the wall in order for it to stay on and the battery doesn't charge, i've already had it fixed for this once. am i dead in the water? does someone want it? for 650 bucks? it cost me 2200 when it came out. is it worth fixing again?
=) i just want it out of my hands...

If you read your user manual, it states that during a period of non use, the battery should be removed from the model, even it the computer is turned off.

You might try the battery reset found here:
http://docs.info.apple.com/artic…It supposedly fixes batteries that don't take a charge.
Maybe that'll help.
