is it down? and when it is, does it prohibit users from viewing sites that use it?
- ********0
it's constantly screwed up. I don't use it anymore.

what exactly IS reinv?
i've seen it embedded into so many different sites and such, just never knew exactly what it did... is it just statistical logging and such? user stats?
- jevad0
yeah user stats and analysis - it's really quite good - and free...not really down that much
- rasp0
works fine for me
- mrdobolina0
its working fine now, last night it was trippin'
- paulrand0
I do wish that when it went down it didn't take your site down with it

I'm currently using it on 5 sites and I've never had any problems with it. I think it's quite good actually.
Also whenever it goes down it never affects my sites - they stay up and running.
- kerus0
its up and down more than paris hilton lately

Whenever it is down, I get page errors on my site, because the javascript call in the header doesnt complete.

so perhaps there is a way to write some sort of timeout script? if reinvigorate doesn't respond for 10 seconds (or something) just kill it from trying . . . too bad i dunno javascript or i'd do it myself
- kerus0
might i suggest putting the reinvigorate thang on the bottom of your page (like here on NT) and not at the top......
- jpea0
i take it that people that use invig. can't get stats from their host? or is it a more complete set of stats or something?
- mrdobolina0
my host uses stats that dont post until the next day, sometimes I want to see my stats in realtime, enter reinvigorate.
- kerus0
reinv = perty
- kodap0
It's working for me.
- REINVIGORATE0
Reinvigorate does indeed occasionally go down. DAS will start using a deticated database server in the next few days which will fix the stability issue. Just be sure to stick the reinvigorate code at the bottom of your page (as was suggested) and it won't hang your site from loading if the tracker ever goes down again
Also- I'm currently coding the next version of reinvigorate (it'll track multiple pages when completed!) I'm writing my own webserver in C++ and implementing a cacheing service to take the load off the database server (this is currently where the stability bottleneck resides).
Thanks for understanding everyone =)

however, the fact that you do it COMPLETELY FREE makes it perfectly great! :) No real complaints out of me.
- kodap0
yeah, thanks, keep it on!
- mrdobolina0
no complaints here either, awesome free service.
