Graphics tablets

I'm looking at graphics tablets, I know wacom seem to OWN the market, although they are very expensive next to say, an aiptek, I can get an aiptek 12*9" for nearly half the price of a wacom, does anyone know these products or whats good or anything?
Any reviews I read seem to be wacom biased.

ask yourself this. do you really need 12x9 tablet? that is what i wanted to get but i settled for a Wacom Intuos2 6x9 and LOVE it. I have yet to say it is to small and i use a 20" Cinema display.
so unless you have a 23" display and are working on Billboards or something then the 6x9 should do the trick

havent tried anything else in the last 2 years or so, but till now Wacom has been the only acceptable choice for me. And yeah - even the smallest model should be fine for you ... its just a matter of habit.
