Portfolio section linking but not active yet...

superb - love the small animations (even though some people -may- find it annoying after a little while) but I don't.
And those white boxes that appear when you hover the menu tend to get the hiccups and stay put until I click on another menu item. Not every time, but .. sometimes :)
And now would be a great time to pull a Butthead joke, but I can't come up with one!! >:(

the little popups work fine, but I can't see the correlation between their look and feel and the smoothness of the rest of the site....
rethink their look and maybe action script them to slow up a little?

Hm.. I think I got it.
It seems it only happens when I click something the very same minute the menu is about to fade out.It's like this:
1) I am on Biography page
2) I click Portfolio
3) The menu slides up..
4) When it's almost gone, I click Contact - then PLINK! - it's stuck.

nowadays waiting 5 seconds for a section to start (excluding the preloading) is too much in my opinion...

yeah thanks alistair I think I will do that - I wasted a lot of time tonight trying to stop them jsut popping up willy-nilly so now I (hopefully) have that sorted I can merge them to the design a little more!! ta..

thats pretty kick ass! how are you going to navigate between different images in the portfolio sections?
the only thing that bothered me was the masking on the initial logo. it comes in fine, but when it masks out, you can definetly tell its a circle deformed. try another shape, or a few. maybe use the little animation over the buttons as a mask for that part. just scale it up.
dont forget to disable the right click menu.

in regards to the hover prob, i have that too. Moz 1.5 FP 7.
how are you turning the popup off ? a variable? if so when the animation starts to deconstruct the current age, switch the var. basically whatever youre doing to turn off the popup, just make it happen again in the begining of the deconstruct.
