Yeah I know - it's naff doing an online journal - but this is to document my move to the states and how I handle it - the differences between living and working in the two countries and stuff like that - so please spare me the 'blogs suck' crap and just crit the design!!

i am looking at it on 1280 x 1024, and i cannot read the fonts.
they are extremely unclear.
it isn't necessarilly the size, but something else.

Kill the anti-aliasing on the main text and darken the navigation text for readabilities sake.
I like the general feel. Might want to incorporate some "warm" photos into it.
Sandstone and desert are two words that come to mind.

fonts totally readable on 1440 x 900 powerbook.
I like it, getting a little sick of the pixel backgrounds, but it works.
I await content, and good luck on the move.
