Bloor / University

Queen's Quay
- Derek20
there are three.
sarah dosnt post much...
- Derek20
depends, do you like to eat out a lot, or party, do you prefer to get away from it all....
bloor is in the middle of it all...
queens quay is much quieter and relaxing.... not as "city downtown coreish"
- genevieve0
watch yourself!
i prefer bloor...
queens quay is where old people go to die...
:)derek check the pics on my lj info...uploaded them few min ago..

- exador10
and just incase there's some out of towners reading this...
Queen's Quay is pronounced 'key'
not kway...sorry...but man, if i haven't heard that word butchered by a zillion tourists...
;)

jeez, do we really need to read about the family gossip on here? dont you guys like...live together or something?!
back to the thread...
harboufront is great during the summer, totally beautiful, totally alive...its pretty dead in the winter...its the most non-downtown place downtown is the best way to put it. secluded, but close to everything. and its not so much old people...theres so many new condos shooting up its mostly young couples and such.
- ********0
hmm interesting...
is it close to subway?
i am only gonna be there till june so summer thing is really out of question..
- nazeri0
its a 2 min. streetcar ride away form union station. but the spadina streetcar, which will take you right to queen/spadina picks you up literally right in front of the building.
but when is this for? not quite ready for immediate occupancy...

i need something starting next week... next tuesday to be exact..
i am flying in on monday nite and heading to office and need a place to stay.. or i will be homeless again..
- nazeri0
aye, sorry dude...no good then.
seriously tho, i would say NT is the last place you should go looking for an apartment...why dont you ask your employers to help you out? or try picking up a newspaper from a specialty shop. toronto star/globe and mail are your best bets prolly. or i guess one of the sites people posted here...anything but NT, really. good luck amigo.
- ********0
well NT cause maybe ppl know someone who knows someone that has a friend's cousin's uncle's sister's roomate or something...
been looking but since most of them people do not have pics online its kind of hard to know whats there....
thx for the info anyways..
o yeah i will be also needing a cheap ass desktop or 12' powerbook ... i am not bringing my system to TO... and if you know anyone.. let me know
