html vs. flash

    As designers and webdevelopers are we forced to use the latest technologies? There are many points that figures out that flash isn`t that great technology they ever said. But designers like to use flash to get more personality notes on their websites. But in 90% of the cases we see websites with the same fucking button animations and navigations (90% we could do in html) and we pay a lot to macromedia to get our "no limit creativity"

    So what you thing about the big difference, folk of creatives?
