Reduce video size

Despite the boring title, I'm hoping to get *some* useful tips to this issue.
Okay, I need to get a mpg-clip burned on a CD, however the file is 40 mb's over the CD's size (5 megs over if I ZIP it with WinZip)
How do I solve this? I don't want to lose a second of the clip, and I don't want to reduce quality either. (And there's no time to get new CD-R's..dammit)
Is there a supah-dupah zip app out there that could squeeze together those extra five megs?

Woah! Get in line people, I don't want all of you throwing ways to solve this problem at me at once.
Some people also refer to these posts as "bumps".

Have you tried Stuffit?

Yes :(
Thanks though :)

there's nothing much you can do when you are 5 megs too big. There's almost no way to compress it any more. Only option is to resize it a little or just lose little quality.
It's all i could come up with

Sorenson Squeeze.

yeah, that's what I was afraid of.
It seems all compression tools i've tried gives me the exact same file size on the final file : /
So if anybody on here feels like starting up a business but lacks good ideas - developing a BETTER compression tool than everything else out there would make you very rich.
Thanks anyway Sajets!

good call Pixel-reindeer, I'll look into it right away (heard quite a lot about it, but never really checked it out before)

re-encode it with nandub...
http://www.divx-digest.com/softw…You'll have to play with the compression settings and you'll also have to have lots of free drive space
