thats really neat... both times i replied i tried to paste the code into this here "" area, and neither time did it appear.

html/code doesn't work in pv-an.
you should really consider doing this with an .htaccess file, instead of meta or javascript.
- ross0
why .htaccess ?
- sparker0
because not all browsers interpret the meta refresh, and some people turn javascript off...plus js still acts funning in different browsers.
.htaccess is the correct way to do it...unless you can access the server at the root level and set rewrite configs.
:)
it's just one line of text in the .htaccess file.
Redirect /file.ext http://domain.com/

i have no idea what a
".htaccess file" is.
- sparker0
type-o: "funny" instead of "funning"
an .htaccess file is a hidden system file in a web directory that offers you limited overide ability to server configuration.
you can do mod_rewrite, redirects, etc.

yeah, the I.T. dept here hardly lets me ftp .html up to the site, so i doubt they would let me put up any hidden system files...
pretty tight over here...
- sparker0
just create one in a text editor, save as .htaccess and upload.
changes are, they haven't disabled it in the server config.
do you use linux/apache servers or ms iis?
