windows open dialog woes

    so for some reason all the files/directories in any "open file" window are ordered backwards alphabetically instead of the conventional forwards.

    i don't know if this is a really stupid question and there's an obvious way to change it back that i overlooked. can anybody help?

    maybe use the details view instead of list or thumbnails, then click the name colum header.

    or maybe open an explorer window and do the above, then go in tools/folder options/view/apply to all folders

    then next timme in a open file dialogue box, they should be in order
