aaaand if you search in the pv-an you'll find a link to a .zip which contains all the hi fonts and illustrations. which ofcourse is against copyright. so if you gonna use one do buy it officially.

a zip file is a file which contains compressed files. i've been told that you need special software to (de)compress zips.

rabattski, I need to 'test' out some of the fonts on this mystical .zip file you speak of, can you help me fill in some of the failings of the NT search feature. Without testing out these fonts I wouldn't like to buy them and thus house industries cannot feed their many children.
Have pity on them.

yer welcome.
although i'm really serious about "testing" it and when you use it commercially really buy it. i mean, just let you client pay it, that's what i always do. it's just that making fonts is a shitload of work and people depend on the income.

cheers rabatski and yeah fonts do take ages, I know cos I've done it... clients must pay!
I wish there was some way of 'testing' fonts tho, sometimes you really want to use a font for a project and you know it would look great, but maybe at the time you cant afford to get it just for a proposal or visual whereas if they go with it then of course you are going to pay... a little like dl'ing comps from image libraries before you buy.

well, it depends what the fontmaker is doing. with most of them you have to buy it first. but guys like underware do it differently. you get the font and when you commercially use it you pay for it. but that's more sensitive for abuse. although almost any font is for download. somewhere. secretly avail.
