" Animal rights advocates will single out small children at performances of ``The Nutcracker'' in the next few weeks by handing out fliers saying ``Your Mommy Kills Animals'' to youngsters whose mothers are wearing fur. "
Seriously... WTF are they thinking targeting little children and tell them thier mom kills animals. PeTa Has lost it.

You gotta wonder about an organization that is willing to fuck up little kids heads just to save a couple of bunnies.

i say thats right on.....but i wouldn't do it in the name of any organization... there are so many opportunities to introduce new and challenging thoughts to enrich a potentially otherwise empty existence for these 'bad animals'.,,....

my opinion as a parent is that PeTA is doing nothing for their cause by trying to shock kids and telling them that their parents are murderers. What a waste of resources.
They could convey the message with a little more subtleness and get the point across much better without potntially damaging a child-parent relationship. All they are doing is generating press for themselves and their egos. "OOOH LOOK AT US, WE'RE DARING AND EDGY!"
- Mimio0
Exactly. They should focus their energies elsewhere. This is clearly not a "teachable moment" for intervening viewpoints.

Wouldn't that make the kids want to go out and buy some fur for themselves? In order to be more like their parents?
