I'm looking to get some DVDs created and I need to know the best way to get a design on the cover. Someone was telling me that printing out a sticker and 'stamping' the dvd could actually make it non-playable. (as it screws up the senstive laser by making it wobble).
I here that the new canon 990 (or some number) printer can actaully print directly to cds. Are there printable dvds for this as well?
Oh, and I just ordered some Super Jewel boxes for the case.

Anyone have comments on how to label dvds?
(as for if the same thing goes for regular cds, I'm pretty sure not as I've done those label sticker things before and not had problems with cds.)

FWIW: We tested dozens of CD's and DVD's using the labels we produce for the Jewelboxing system. We used a variety of disc brands, printers and computer and home disc players to test and had no problems.

I ordered this a few days ago. this one prints on printable CDs/DVDs. I saw a sample and it was pretty good. I've used those sticker thingy and I don't like 'em. I never had a playback prob. but I hate the look. it looks sorta cheapo...
