i've been busy as hell lately and working late so i don't get to lurk around here often.
my poster goes to press tomorrow...it should be fun.

whos printing it?dude i just sifted through those namba pics, whoa! that is so solid. did you design the wavy gravy shelving? i cant imagin the sourcing you did to build it. must have been some pro carpenters eh?

williamson is printing it and pulling out all the stops in regards to techniques. *drool
no, karim rashid designed the nambe store fixtures. i just acted as a design consultant and helped with choices of paint, finishes, materials and contractor management. we designed custom acrylic signage to match the shelving with indigo graphic outputs on mylar along with other miscellaneous signage (some made out of their metal). last year, their pilot store in denver actually beat out the apple store last year for retail store of the year.
fixtures are by a guy out of jersey who does all the stuff for tumi, tommy hilfiger, ralph lauren and others. the stuff is tight.
