i have a javasricpt dropdown menu that just happens to be right above a jumpmenu.
of course when you rollover the dropdown menu it goes underneath the form element.
has anyone seen this and know a way to fix it?
please help,
thanks

got a link?

if this 'form element' you speak of is a listbox... then there's nothing you can do about it... unless you want to set the display property of the listbox while the menu is visible so it can't be seen.

the form element is a jumpmenu and its appearing overtop of my main javascript dropdown menu.
sorry i dont have a link yet.
its a silly thing to explain.
thanks thought.

jumpmenu vs. JS dropdown menu
so far the JS menu is losing bad.

sounds like you just need to set your z-index property.
- mitsu0
objects with higher z-index values will be positioned over objects with lower ones.

i tried the layering and it doesnt like me.
i gave the form the lowest and the JS menu 1000 and the form reigned supreme.
