I have to be honest here, I use dreamweaver to do any javascript. Lets just call it laziness... But now I would like to find a way to refine and clean up my code. Maybe make a simple swap image that is universal and I just change the image name. Whatever. can someone help guide me away from the evil dreamweaver...
maybe with good guidance or good links to tutorials.
thank you

million methods. simple ex.:
function c(o,i)
{
o.src=i;
}implementation:
[img src='a.gif'
onmouseover='c(this,"b.gif");'
onmouseout='c(this,"a.gif");'
]

if you want to clean up your code and write js that is *mostly* cross browser, then i would say learn ECMAScript, instead.
it is the proposed, standards version of javascript supported by the w3. it removes the proprietary [read: browser specific] parts from javascript.

sparker, sometimes i think that 's' in your name stands for 'standards'.
