Is it possible to run a Flash Projector straight from a CD on a Windows PC? Do I need to include a copy of Flash Player on the CD or does Flash it make it self-contained? And will there be much slowdown, if any, when running it? Can I export the Projector for PC from a Mac version of Flash?
Please help! I've never had to do anything like this before and it's needed sharpish!!!
Thanks in advance.

Yeah, it's a .exe no external player required.
I've had problems creating PC projectors on a Mac, so I wouldn't.
Not sure what you mean by slowdown?

BTW that's yeah for running it from the CD, you'll need a create and autorun file though.

...and put a text on the cd sleeve what pc people have to do when autorun function on their pc is "off"...
man, i still receive emails from all corners of the world about that.
oops.

Thanks Jnr, I'm crapping it: 10-20 page presentation due next Wed and I don't get to start it until Monday. It was supposed to be Powerpoint but that's just shit. Still need to do a Powerpoint backup though and PDF too, plus export a PC projector. All that and the other shitload of work I have :(
I wasn't sure if there would be any lag or slowdown while running from a CD when it's accessing the file but it's not a real concern for me anyway.

There shouldn't be that much of a lag, should be fine.
Goodluck, I'm sure you'll laugh on Thursday about it.

Cheers. What would you suggest I do about the PC projector issue then? Any suggestions? Can I actually do it myself or is it just not advisable?

i did that recently.
one flashprojector autostart cd-rom for both mac & pc.
if i can do it, you can do it for sure.

That's good to know, thanks Stewart.

Sorry I didn't mean it wasn't poss, I just had problems and therefore I wouldn't. I have Macs and PC's so it wasn't really an issue for me.

Auto-Run File + .exe of your choice. http://www.macromedia.com/suppor…

you can even create an .ico and then have your small .exe application represent that icon. etc, etc.
