Hello NT:
Are CSS text shadows not supported my IE6 or mozilla? I'm trying to create the effect but nothing changes in my text.
I've tried looking at tutorials with no luck...Or does anyone have a link to a working example?

good question, maybe consult http://www.w3.org/Style/CSS/ and see what's up, but that actually might not help you.

Should work - lots of examples on the net.

google look for "filter css drop shadow"

"filters" are not part of the css spec. it is a proprietary rule, therefore may not work in all browsers.

Brian Bell was on about this earlier:

That article is so lame - there are lots of features that IE supports that NS does not. The article could just as easily been written the other way.

10 years later,
text-shadow is standard cross all other browsers now, does anyone have something that works on IE 8+?
