for Final Cut 3, but I saved the installer in an external HD. Does anyone know if I can still install the program and bypass the request to insert the original disk which poops up half way through the install? Thanks in advance.

I'm not trying to be a dick if you stole this. But If you explain your situtaion to Apple they will honor your license and send you another CD.

Absolutly, but they already told me 2-4 weeks, I need to edit some things right now. Any thoughts?

Try mounting the installer within a disk image named like the original CD?

Use a CD creation app, like Toast or whatever, collect some files(your installer), and create a disk image from those files. Then mount that disk image on your desktop and try to install it. This can sometimes fake out the software so it think it's installing from a CD.
