mask it.
- rasko40
that is done using Macromedia Flash Animation Technology™
- unfittoprint0
erase the letters, little by little, then reverse frames...

mmmmh... nice curves... (not only in the logo)
- truemaxim0
Most likely masking. That at least how I do it. It works
- stewart0
btw, you can do this by actionscripting.

actionscripting masks? how? sorry im probably being ignoramant..
- Mimio0
Actionscript masks are one thing, but getting them to match the stroke of a character is another.

I know it's masking, I was asking for the AS that's required for the curving ... it can't be tweening can it?
- JamesEngage0
instead of finding a shortcut... do it propertly like i did... it's basic animation...
actioned masks only work best when they are linear, or have some kind of mathematical formula to them... do you know the formula to write the word... esther franklin? exactly!
- rasko40
jesus everybody wants a miracle button handing to them on a plate these days! pesky kids.. now get those key frames in order, off you go!
- JamesEngage0
it only took about half an hour... whats the big deal!
- slag_you_off0
looks like it....
- smartK0
alright alright I thought it was an actionscript job while it actually is a "handjob" ( ;
thanks
