what exactly IS a jevad? a strange squirrel?

damn good question that actually...it was the name for a band I was in in high school...it means 'happiness and strong character' in arabic...then I did a zine for a while called Jevad too..and people started callin me nic jevad..and it kinda stuck..now a few people that loosely know me think that's actually my last name...
