In my own defense..would any of you put your heart and soul into a community that constantly bashes you?
NT has its place..and in my heart..its a place to joke around not learn. If you want to learn and share knowledge I would say to go to someplace like Ultrashock. Sorry NT..i'm not trying to pub up another community..but the peopel there (myself included) are much more apt to share the knowledge than here.
As far as not critiquing others work, I dont ever do that. Its one of those damned if you do, damned if you dont situations. If I critique your site, someone goes "Damn..that pixelranger guy and 2A ripped that site apart..What assholes", but..it seems if I dont share in discussions on sites I get the same thing. Oh well. I'd rather just keep out of other peoples business.

yes.. I use 31 for that exact reason. The mac will drop to 25 and sometimes 20. Try it with an empty movie clip and an FPS script that you can download from Moock. On a pc it will run it at 30..on the Mac it drops.

People just need to show respect. The thing about 2a is, you have to respect there attention to detail. It may not be your thing... but man... they do take care of the details

... you have valid points (and I love ultrashock too... that's were I get alot of info from)....
... you have to admit... it does look a little conceited that you only talk about your own stuff... it's kind of like that guy at work that brings nothing to the table except for their own stuff that they feel is hot shit.
I'm not saying that's how you are... i'm just saying that it can come across like that.

fair enough Mr. Ranger, but it just seems odd that you come here once a day looking for 2a threads. and yes, you guys do good work, thats why I cant understand that you feel the need to come here and defend it.
And also, if you dont show something respect ie: nt, dont expect to get alot of it back

I hear you and yours is a valid point. To be honest I hardly ever critique sites for the reasons I gave before. And I dont think my shit is the best. Far from it. I make up for a lack of talent with hard work and attention to details like someone mentioned.
My other defense is damned if I dont have soo many things going on that my head is spinning. I only get about 4 hours of sleep a night with all the stuff I've got going on. I really only have time to commit to one community. NT for me is just a place to kick off your shoes, pull up your sleeves and flame away. Its sad ..but true. Sorry in advance (eheh) to anyone whom I've offended. :)

Shane isnt like that, guys cool to work alongside with, super talented / extremely helpful and has 0 ego. Whatever some of you guys might be thinking about him, its complete opposite.
People just like to get involved and like to ask questions or 2nd guest peoples opinions, for example -> MG33 earlier post "and what crowd is that? Owners of The Fast and Furious DVD's?"

Yeah the site works for the target audience, but personally I have never saw the appeal in 2advanced. Doesn't anyone else think their sites sorta just look like templates?

Damn, that is seriously processor intensive.
I'm on a G4 twin 1.4 and it slowed me down too much.
Those dudes must be designing on serious machines and testing their sites on...well... the same serious machines. Not impressed.
