Hello. As some of you may know im going travelling for a bit, and I need a new camera.
Requirements.
decent zoom
35mm
small
under £200anyone recommend any?
I did think about the LEICA C2

which I know I can get for under 200, but im thinking you dont get a lot of camera for that much money compared to olympus et al.

is that leica with a carl zess lens? The lens quality can make all the diff if you plan on enlarging to 16x20 or so. all those 'extras' are just ways to up the $

Lecia are known for ther lens. The glass is flawless. The only reason i like Nikon is because they can really take a beating.

A camera is only as good as the glass in the lens. Leica is the daddy and if you can get one for under 200 so for it. The extras on the other camera is stuff that can let you down and need to be repaired.

won't you just end up spending a shitload on leica lenses? seems like a canon or nikon would be a better choice if you want quality and a good price and a good assortment of lenses...
my stepdad just bought the leica r9 and a sweet leica lense to go with it. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$...
