MAC monitor question

I am mac - ignorant. I'm on PC and I recently hooked up a nice big mac monitor. I don't know what model it is, but its only a couple years old, its big, it weighs a ton, it is not a flat panel - its gigantic and it has a nice pretty blue plastic shell. So, I hook it up to my PC and realize that I need to adjust the vertical, horizontal, etc... I was informed that macs come with software to control these settings. Is this also available for PC so that I can download it and make the adjustments?
Thank you so much, NT peeps. And please excuse my mac challenged demeanor.

there should be more options that that. there should be a menu button. then an on screen prompt will prompt you to do morei think the menu one is on the left

not to make you worried or something but i hope you can enjoy that monitor for a long time cause i saw four of them die about half a year ago. Four of them in about two weeks time.
Like it was preprogrammed or something.
It starts with a twitching screen and ets worse till unstandable.

Yikes! Hope that doesn't happen here. Anyway, there is a push button on the left front, but it just looks at me when I press it. Again, I think I need some kind of software to get to these display settings. I'm hoping that it will be compatible with a pc.
