Just started my new job and this is really the first job I've had to produce. Any thoughts/criticism? Or even any suggestions? It's for a record shop's promotions service where they get unsigned bands, record their rmusic professionally and sell it trough all the stores in the UK. Ay comments/criticism greatly appreciated.

grea to see you settling in stimuli, the first piece is perfect I think, the internal I'd rather see more 'punking' ( excuse my lame terminology but I know you know what I mean) on the title and then keep the body copy nice and swiss, I thinik that having it at an angle is maybe trying too hard and that having it as a contrast to the logo/styling would make it stronger... but then I have just caned half a bottle of absynth and am typing at one letter avery three seconds....

Hehe, cheers rasko - I was trying to stick to a "corporate" (not really) established style but the style itself is really simple. Usually vectors/icons so not much room to play with. And no room for photography so most ideas were rejected instantly. But cheers for the feedback and I'll take it ino account. It's only v1 of about 3 so hopefully I can try something different next time.

In fact, it all looks pretty big on screen, it's only supposed to be A6 postcard sized, double sided...

i like the first idea sorta.
but instead of a locked top secret style briefcase,
try out a ricketty old van. cause thats what most unsigned artist get around in. they would prolly get with that image than a sealed briefcase.
to me the briefcase seems like the sleezy promoter ready to rape them of their talent to some record exect. imho

oh man , I was watching this on eBay last week but missed the end of the auction like a twat... you acnt search completed items anymore but it was a powell peralts rollerskate case that said 'rollerbones' in the classic bones typoeface and an illu of a sleleton of a roller skater... totally cool and very damn rare, shoulda been mine!!
I cant believe I just typed all that shit.. I'm pissd.

damn you I'm all out of liquid, I didn't even go out but I couldn't hold out.. had to hit the beers.. 4 cans o' stella, hlaf a bottle o' red, half bottle o sake I found in the fridge and some a glass of absynth someone left lying around... I tried the old melt some sugar in trick but just managed to ruin a spoon and turn the synth brown...
