- Skylark0
A size chart is something I really need to get my self to do...lazy I am...but to get back to your question...I use Hanes 50/50 cuz it has a pretty good fit to it....

how's your luck with the retailers Skylark?
- Skylark0
well...dont know yet. I got many reqeuests , and I email tehm back, and answer theri questions, and then I never hear from them again!!? I dont know if I say something wrong or what? Or maybe they not really retailers?
But I'm working on cd rom cataloge to send out to a bunch of retailers. That will be done this month, and then I'll start to send it out...it will be intresting to see how it turns out...
- JazX0
that's a very good idea. Try and be consistent, even bug the shit out them at work if you need to be. 'Out of site' is 'out of mind' so-to-speak, if you know what I mean. :)
- Skylark0
yepp..I hope it will work out good...there is a litle trouble finding retailers, but I have manage to get a nice list so far...
How do you go about to find buyers for your stuff?
- JazX0
polite E-mails and distribution websites and Magazine features. Computer Music UK is doing something on my product and Keyboard Magazine already did. I guess it's more of a marketing niche than anything. You're in clothes and I'm in soundware. I guess the market is really flooded with clothes and it takes the right kind of retailer to see the style and appeal of your gear. :)

true...
what kind of distribution websites? I guess that is for musik, but woul still be intresting to see what they ar about. It would make it easyer to look for simular clothing distribution websites.
I will send out the catalog to many magazins aswell...maybe that will lead somewhere?

have you contacted the buyers group for places like http://www.urbanoutfitters.com and the like. Try those sites, they generally are at least professional about it. A friend started a chain of dollar stores in NYC area. Well I helped him when I was unemployed in NYC two years ago. He also imports clothing from Nepal. Quite cheaply I might add. Managed to gain JC Penny as a buyer for his socks. Yeah, it sounds funny, I know, except for the part about him brining in like $6K per week.

they are on my list, so whenever I got the catalog ready, they will know about me ;)
yeah...one big retailer can really make a big diffrence...
- JazX0
Skylark, that's really the way I see things as well. Just that one reliable good client and you are always going to be fine. I'm working on that as well. :)

I got a swede-coupon, what's the price on a nifty tee then?
- JazX0
swede-coupon? what the hell is that? some kinda' fun thing you get for being cool and Swedish or something busta'? ;)
- jox0
exactly! you also have to have a certain amount of Pippi Longstocking books, know how to roll meatballs yourself and slept with at least one in the Swedish bikini team. I don't have to say you have to be blonde too, right?

Make more "distributer" shirts please.
