A question for those with search engine optimization experience: is using the ALT tag for an text that is rendered as an image as good, search engine placement wise, as having HTML text on the page instead of an image? I'm trying to please a client who is very search engine conscious, but HTML text just looks so shit sometimes...

Put all the text in the ALT tag and also create a "noframes" area. Copy and paste the text into that too.
(Current browsers don“t show anything inbetween "noframes".)
