Is there a way you can add frames in the middle of an After Effects composition like you can add frames in flash?
thanks

there should be an INSERT -> something or other I think?

all i could find was time remapping
=(

as far as I know - all you can do is stretch or decrease the time duration -- which sucks if you're trying to insert the frames ona video.
... i'm not exactly sure why you want to do this.

If you just want to add length the best way is to time remap the comp, insert keyframes and move them to fit the length you want.

hehe...I didnt want to do it, client wanted a change and I was trying to figure out an easier way to do it than time stretching *sigh*

don't time stretch, use time remap. It's super easy.

cut your layer into pieces and than add the frames?although i would go with the time remapping

Hey 573,
I work full time in motion graphics at a company in philadelphia called Blue.
I can direct you to an old reel of the company that was done a while back, none of my work is featured on it.
We have a new branding and reel we're about to drop soon.

Im just starting to really get a grasp at after effects, and trying to break a lot of old flash habits
=)
I will be posting a few of the things Ive been working on soon...is it a must to learn Combustion and After Effects? or is it just a matter of what one likes best?

Usually people specialize in one or the other. It depends wether you prefer a non-linear or linear timeline. They both have there strengths and weaknesses. But in the end I love Aftereffects.

It is a large file(5mb) because it's pretty long.
