hi all,
got this horizontal scroller up and running. works fine in players 6 and lower. i need this thing to work for actionscript 7 too !!!
x = _xmouse-260;
setProperty("timeline", _x, y);
y = y-(x/10);
if (Number(y)>0) {
y = y-448;
}
if (Number(y)<-448) {
y = Number(y)+448;
}"Number" returns NaN if exported for 7. How can i fix this ? MX 2004 Reference states that the behaviour for Number has changed for 7 Players.
Any help highly appreciated. Thanxxxs

tried changing your export settings to Actionscript1 ??

Doesn't matter wether you use 1.0 or 2.0. as long as you export version 7 swfs it won't work =(

when will u ppl start using Flash5 [& higher] syntax? Flash4 is dead! Dead, I tell ya!
timeline._x -= ( _xmouse-260)/10
if (timeline._x>0) {
timeline._x -= 448;
} else if (timeline._x<-448) {
timeline._x += 448;
}
