Need some help with actionscripting....
i have a projecter movie which has been created by 640 x 480. The client wants this increased to 1024 x 786.
Is there a quick way in actionscripting which i can scale the movie to this size?
btw: the projecter file is fullscreen but i want the movie to remain 1024 x 786 no matter the size of the screen
Any help much appreciated... thanks in advnace :)

in simple terms i need to convert a 640 x 480 movie to a 1024 x 768 movie without having to change all the sizes of the internal images and placements (before anyone says to change the size of the canvas!!)

make another projector that loads the swf file of your original one in a MC that is scaled 200%

1. resize your canvas.
2. check 'edit multiple frames'
3. select everything on the stage.
4. hit 'Q' and resize everything.

stretching it will obviously mong up the gfx a bit, so stage resize would be better.
you could convert to a mc or import the swf into mc and then resize that with actionscript SetProperty

or do as zaven says :p

yeh was trying not to use another swf to load it in... but looks like that is the only way.....
pretty sure there is a way to do it in actionscripting but don't think that my knowledge of actionscripting is quite up 2 it!!
thanks anyway guys

well if your presentation is 'simple' , you can make that an Mc and then scale it 200%

grrrrrrrrr :( scaling it from another swf screws it up... cause i did a lot of jazzy text effect animations in photoshop when you scale the image of the text it looks really distorted.... looks like i may have to settle on manipulating each image on the stage :(
last panic call out please... anyone know of a better way

if you use imported photoshop files as text - no, sorry.
