to resend my application letter???
I just send out a letter to apply for an internship last Friday. And just want to know what to do next, should I wait a week, 2 weeks or a month? What's normal.

why re-send it?
you could try a friendly email asking if they recieved it okay
but i wouldnt re-send it unless they tell you they never got it in the first place

personally, i'd wait a week, or even less. show them you're really interested.

best way now is calling. dutchlabel, a studio i've never heard of, placed an ad on the bno.nl site. they got 100 letters in 3 days. thats amazing for a not well known studio I think.
Call them you come to visit them.

Design yourself a witty generic 'remember me!' postcard that you can use for when applying for jobs/internships...etc.
Make yourself memorable.
And have fun.

everyone does these 'witty' postcards/mailers etc. phone calls get ignored/not returned and you end up chasing and chasing them to the point it seems like youre stalking them.
believe me.
email the a quick hello, how you doing and ask if theyve recieved your application letter okay. they can get back to you as and when they are not busy. your email stays in their inbox until they do!
nothing gets lost [witty postcard] no note to call you back goes missing or ignored.
