There's this one mag called Bassline I think it is... or something along those lines. It has a bunch of fonts and what not in it. Pretty interesting. Metropolis, Print, I.D., How, Dwell and Surface are all good too.

there is ONLY ONE mag with real content and it looks far from being a coffeetable kind of mag..
best theories for GRAPHIC design:
DOT DOT DOT

sorry forgot the URL:
it has only a few issues per year, but it's really quality over quantity with this one!
my very favorite..

4CY is dead on...
Dot Dot Dot is tops. I find myself re-reading issues cover to cover all the time. Nothing beats it in terms of quality, and best yet - they've just started printing in full color. The last issue was fantastic.
I would also reccommend Eye magazine:
It's quarterly and way overpriced - $28 dollars an issue - considering how short each issue is - less than 100 pages. But I find that the content has been steadily improving in quality. So if you don't mind paying so much for a magazine, then by all means subscribe to this one.

yea, i got 2 issues by sheer accident..
now i want the new one, but can't find it anywhere...
oh well, i guess i will have to subscribe anytime soon.
(i am rereading the issues i have from time to time as well.... solid stuff!!!)
