Is there any firewall that will allow me to use AIM freely, including the Direct Connect etc.

At the moment I've had to mess around with the ports on my XP Firewall *sigh*.

    Any suggestions? Preferably Freeware.

try setting up a forwarding TCP and UDP port on 5190

turn of the firewall(windows one) and if it connects download zone alarm.. use it, like it, buy it(or cough##)

    if not

AIM is suppossed to be crap for file transfer (or so i'm told) so make sure you and the person you are trying to contact have uptodate software.
