i'm here, on the atlantic coast of canada, checking out dalhousie university's architecture school.
halifax is pretty small... anybody know good places to go? or if you're down for a cuppa joe or a drink, lemme know.

Word! I just moved back to Vancouver from Halifax a month ago.
I loved livin there....tons of young peeps to chill with and a good music scene..
What kind of things are you looking to do? It's probably gettin pretty cold out there so you best be sittin inside gettin smashed. The Marquee is a good place for late night drinks and good music, La Cave is a nice place to bring a date for cheesecake and wine, check out Point Pleasant Park for a nice walk (complete with 18th century forts), and Citadel Hill is a good place to blaze one.

The gleddings preparatory school. I know rishworth though. Halifax was a nice place back in th'day Rasko, nasty place now though :(

I had to go to the preparatory school because i used to cry and puke up nearly everyday in the first school i went to. what a brat.
They prepared me for this and that. Top secret stuff, so i can't disclose too much info. They did teach me how to shave hairy asses though... always comes in handy for NTL technicians. yummy scary hairy bums.

Halifax is a small city –I think that's what makes it so great. The number of artists, musicians, and performers for our size is pretty incredible. I've lived here for 6 or 7 years now and would be quite content buying a home and growing old here. There are so many good restaurants and a pretty diverse selection of clubs. Check out the Khyber, The med, and yes Athens (order the souvlaki - it's awesome.) I hope you enjoy your stay.
