I know alot of ya'll have seen the installation with the grafitti light, if not it's dope and you should check it out here: http://www.pipslab.nl/graf/ but for those familiar with this can anyone give me some insite into the process? Are there any articles or books floating around saying how they did this shit? I'ma mail them but thought to post this to help me along. Peace and enjoy your days off all!

I think they do it like this: there are like 30 camera's, placed on a 180° rail (in some pictures you see the shadow of that rail). It's the same technique they use in the Matrix. Now, every camera has like a 3" shutter speed opening time, and they all take a picture at the same time. The guy has to draw his tag just in the air, with a lightbulb. He has to do it in the 3 seconds.
Afterwards, you glue all pictures together...
It's a pretty expensive setup, I guess. And you'll have to experiment a lot with shutter speeds.

If they would do it like you said lenzz. Then you should see there bodymovements to on the photo's but they're standing still....

There is a long exposure to catch just the light drawing, then a flash at the end to capture the still figure.
