doing a site for friend who wondered whether it is possible to create a script that will refresh his splash page each visit with the first image google image search finds for a specific word...the word is always the same.......
?? any suggestions? i like the idea - just don't have a clue where to start!!

huh? explain a little more, me dumb
he/she wants a site that refreshes the splash according to a user input in google image search? also if you search for the same word every time, unless its completely general, google will return the same image often.

its possible for an image to be random on a page via php.
but dunno about a google search. google images are usually cached by the spider. so depending on how often the spider crawls ur site, that one image still can remain in her cache.
