pop up killer probs

My trial version of "adsgone" popup killer has just expired and now all my internet / email settings have gone nuts.
I'm getting loads of "cannot find server" messages and outlook won't connect to my mail servers. Sound like a virus or is it related to the ad program?

go to Tools, Internet Options, select the Connections tab, and click the "LAN settings" button. tell me if the proxy settings are checked and there's something along the lines of "localhost" in the server box.
adsgone might just set itself up as a local filter proxy. that they're charging for what you can get for free and better is a little silly though. http://www.proxomitron.info w/ the filter set from http://www.jd5000.net rocks all socks.

There's nothing at all checked in my LAN Settings window.
Even this newstoday page has "cannot find server" as it's title . . . and those links you posted won't load!
