hmm well i got a little of everything... i photographed all the printed suff and was gonna put it up online & also print it out, and took screen grabs of all the online stuff - print that out too?

well, just create a design portfilio to show someone at a meeting. shw off your strongest design pieces, online and/or off. just incase you are at a setting where there is no computer.

For my online folio, I have shot all my worthy printed work, and got screen shots of webbased items.
I was thinking when I meet a client in person i could talk them trough my online stuff on my laptop, (when i get one), and have actual printed samples of my print work to show.

hmm i dont have printed samples of some of my old stuff.. it got all chewed up - i was gonna just print out my photos...

thats a good idea, some of my printed stuff looks better in photos than real life anyway.
some creative photography can make all the difference.
I'm in the process of shooting my folio on the weekends, it's a big job, and i'm building my site too

We use a printed portfolio, it's so much easier to talk about work with it, that trying to rub your head and pat your stomach with a mouse.
Also, for our mobile stuff the dot pitch of a normal monitor doesn't cut it, so you can print them out at the size they should be.

Put yer best stuff on a website and in your portfolio, dont cram it full of everything youve ever done, about 10 or 12 projects.
Print out site maps and screen shots of screen based projects just incase something goes wrong with your site/ CDROM/ the internet etc.
Leave a CDROM for them to look at but dont depend on it.
