...extract an audio track in qucktime pro from an mpeg1 movie file? it has audio, but only one track... (MPEG1 muxed or something).
any suggestions.
using a mac, qt 6.4.

you can probably do it in some Video editing application such as Vegas Video, Avid or Permiere or whatever that Mac-based movie program is.

for some reason it won't import into the iTunes library to the rip it... but thanks for the suggestion bonseff.
as for other apps... I don't have access to anything other than iMovie... i bought qt pro thinking it would handle this, but as its a shitty mpeg 1 file it cant demerge the audio and video tracks.

for future reference seems like the only way i could do it with simple software was to rerecord it using audio hijack... imovie wouldnt do it either.
oh well. only a sample from a porno i wanted to use in dj sets!

heya, go to "save as" and save the movie as a self contained quicktime file (.mov) or go to "Export" and choose a different type of compression and export it out. something like that// i've done it before.. try different shit
