I'm getting back into photography lately, wondering if anyone has any tips or technics they use when taking action shots. Specifically for skateboarding.
What film speed, filters, lighting setups etc...?Any help would be appreciated. thanks.

I was looking for some photos for a gig for a footwear company last week. Maybe u can recommend an artist/gallery?
Needed: close-ups of guys (ages 16-24) performing skateboarding stunts. Lots of action. Grunge style. Shirtless, baggy pants, long hair, sharp focus, color. Good mix of races.
Artist would need to reshoot subjects in new footwear.
Any photo galleries and artists u recommend?

http://www.scottserfas.com/skate…on the topic of professional skate photgraphy...was at seminar a few months ago with Grant Britain (senior photo editor for transworld) and he was telling me that 80-90% off all submissions are in medium format and not 35mm, and at this point they figure they are about 1-2 years away from publishing the first full page digital photo.
