I have bought panther but am now having doubts about installing it as I am worried that it will FCUK up some of my OSX apps.
Has anyone had any problems.
Specifically:
Quark 6
Cubase SX
PRO TOOLS 6.1I also have a EDIROL PCR 50 controller - would I need new drivers etc??
Any help would be cool
Cheers
Karlo

I can't say anything about the apps you mentioned, but be sure to make a COMPLETE backup (use carbon copy cloner) of your pevious system/disc.
install by using the option 'erase disc + install new'.
I tried updating a 'naked' 10.2.8 - it failed (X.apps froze). then I installed with the option 'archive old, make new system folder' - still no luck.
sucked big time, and I was happy for the back-up. I'm still on 10.2.8 now, cause fontmanagement in 10.3 vs. classic is a pain in the lower regions.

unplug any firewire drives before you install and then do a software update before you reconnect.. all running smooth for me but I dont use the apps you mentioned..
