anyone use this mouse? i need something better than that slow track pad when i'm away from home, but i don't want to carry around a long-ass cord in my pocket.

The apple bluetooth wireless mouse is functional, but it is still just a one-button mouse, and sometimes you might not be able to distinguish the front from the back.
I have the Logitech Mx700 mouse, but that requires the recharging dock to use, which means more cables than a normal mouse. I also have the Logitech MouseMan Optical but it also requires a USB base station to send and receive signals from. I'm quite pleased with the Mx700, but it may not be for you if you don't want any wires.
I am pretty sure that the Mx900 is bluetooth enabled, though.
