Anyone know how'd I go about transferring a print (using a deskjet) to wood or thick cardboard?
Was going to use iron transfers, or get a stamp made.. hmmm

im surprised nobody suggested that you cram a piece of wood into the printer.

Gell medium transfers are also nice to use for color or b/w lazer prints.
1. Print your image in reverse.
2. Paint the gell medium on your surface and on your image.
3. Let dry.
4. Paint another layer of gel medium and apply.
5. Let dry.
6. Apply water to the now glued on piece of paper.
7. Carefully rub off the paper leaving your image on the surface.
8. Welcome to arts school. Start talking BS and use words like angst.Experiment with different amounts of gel medium and different kinds matte and glossy.

Tried these with inkjet, laser (color & B/W). I tried it with mineral water. I tried it with turpentine.
Nothing so far. Has anyone else had any luck? Am I doing something wrong? Nothing seemed to have transfered over. I am going to try the heat transfer next.
End result, I might get this silk screened.
word!
