does anyone know how to extract vocals from a track?
is this possible?
- Noyz3190
not really possible
- vespa0
not possible if you need any form of quality.
- mirola0
unless you choose that quality to be bad quality. i'm starting to like those bootlags floating around the net that are really poorly timestretched and the vocals are plucked out really poorly.
- vespa0
god i hate badly timestretched vocals. and autotuned vocals.

anyone know of any vocal tracks from studios you can get somehow? doesnt really matter WHAT it is.
- lucidblack0
sure... start calling studios and get ready to pay $$$
- vespa0
go and buy some acapella vocal tracks
- vespa0
or put an ad out and pay a vocalist to do some for you.

Gregorian Monks ?

no way you're going to do it UNLESS!:
If the vocals fall into a particular frequency that the rest of the song does not (good luck!) then you can cancel out all the non-required frequencies
OR
if they're panned in a different headspace to the rest of the song - same type of deal..

get a cd-r disc that allows a maximum burning speed of 4X
Open nero and burn a song to the cd in 12X
I shit you not, most of the time it works perfectly.
